Insurance Sales Representative Job Description
• To Sell Insurance policy, end to end closure
• Selling of 2 And 4 wheeler insurance policy /Term insurance to the leads
• To have an in depth knowledge of hard-core sales and sell life insurance policies to the customers
• To work for providing first class service experience to existing customers and take references for acquiring new quality customers.
• To continuously improve product knowledge and awareness of market trends and competitor products.
• To overcome problems using guidelines and escalate with expediency, when necessary.
• Good co-ordination and networking skills
• Contacting potential clients and creating rapport by networking, cold calling, using referrals etc
• Persuade prospective clients to engage in a phone conversation and/or meeting to discuss insurance products
• Advise clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs
• Achieve sale target for incentives.
• Research and source potential clients and build long-term relationships with them
• Deliver approved policies to new clients and explain benefits and risks of the policy
• Re-assess the policy needs of existing clients after life-changing events
• Fill-out and submit applications, issue quotes, maintain client records and prepare reports
• Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices
• Maintain electronic and paper records
Insurance Sales Representative requirements
• 2-3 years of previous working experience as an Insurance Agent.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Lead Generation
• Must have selling skill
• Impeccable interpersonal skills and friendly attitude
• Well organized with time great management abilities
• Must be flexible in nature, positive attitude, easily handle pressure.
