The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise and current connections to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
Actively promote digital products & services across public and private sectors.
Identify key stakeholders in customers’ organizations, maintain and build relations through consistent visits and follow ups.
Develop sales strategy by sector & customer. Define the sales Plan, Approach and Marketing support required.
Build the sales pipeline, map potential customers and generate credible leads.
Achieve/exceed sales target & objectives through effective analysis & planning, and an active sales conversion approach.
Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives.
Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers.
Follow the sales reporting process, set and agreed with the management.
Monitor public tenders and drive drafting and preparing the technical and commercial proposals.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge of IDT portfolio by completing the necessary trainings and required certifications. Staying up-to-date through webinars and product publications.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information and developing competitive value offerings for customers.
Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
Qualifications
1-2 years' Business Development & Sales experience within the areas of ICT Network Infrastructure and services
Demonstrable track record of over-achieving sales targets
Strong sales, customer relationship management and communication skills
Willing to travel
