The Sales representative is responsible for identifying and attracting new customers while maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers. This role involves presenting and selling products or services to potential clients, negotiating sales contracts, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential customers through various means, including tele calls, referrals, networking, and online research.
Product/Service Presentation: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the company's products or services and effectively communicate their features and benefits to potential customers.
Sales Process: Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing the sale. This includes understanding customer needs, providing solutions, and overcoming objections.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports. Provide regular updates to sales management on progress and forecasts.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and threats.
Skill
Proven experience in a sales role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Knowledge of the company's products or services.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
Familiarity with CRM software (Customer Relationship Management) is a plus.
