Job Summary:
As a Solar Sales Officer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling solar energy solutions to residential and commercial customers. Your primary goal will be to increase solar adoption, contribute to sustainable energy initiatives, and drive business growth for our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and Engage Customers: Identify potential customers through various means, including cold calling, referrals, networking, and attending industry events.
Customer Education: Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental benefits, and available incentives or rebates.
Site Assessments: Visit customer locations to evaluate their energy needs, roof suitability, and sun exposure to determine the optimal solar system size and design.
Proposal Preparation: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to create personalized solar energy proposals based on site assessments and customer preferences.
Sales Presentations: Present proposals to customers, address their questions and concerns, and negotiate terms to secure contracts.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and addressing any post-sale inquiries or concerns.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelors degree in business, marketing, environmental science, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in solar energy, renewable energy, or a related industry.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, and the ability to understand technical aspects of solar energy systems.
Additional Requirements:
Familiarity with solar energy products, systems, and industry trends.
Ability to convey technical knowledge in a clear and accessible manner to customers.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to man
