About the role-
We are looking for a sales executive who will be responsible for driving sales of our eha products in general trade. An ideal candidate will be start-up enthusiast having prior sales experience of selling lifestyle products. The candidates who are passionate about, and having good understanding of sustainability will be preferred. If you have managed teams of sales executives, it will be an added advantage. MBA in business development & marketing, or equivalent education is a must.
Responsibilities-
• Market intelligence—be the expert on our buyers, their buying patterns and criteria.
• Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition & how they are positioned.
• Go to Market and reach out to retailers, distributors, and prospects.
• Have daily reach targets and weekly sales targets
• Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas.
• Understand and document our buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when, and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.
• Develop a marketing plan for the products with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
• Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
• Research competitor offerings
Requirements-
• 3-5 years of product sales experience with at least 2 years of experience in a market-facing role (. delivering presentations to retailers/dealers, conducting competitor analysis and market research)
• Preferably from homeware and lifestyle product sales background.
• Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office
• Understanding of Trade and Distribution business
