Job Description

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: 5-10 years in the Building Material industry with channel sales

experience in a related competitive industry like PVC Plumbing Pipe, Sanitary Ware and Bathroom

Fittings of reputed companies like (Asian Granito India Ltd., Kohler, Jaguar, Cera,Hindware, TOTO,

Duravit, Parryware, Eros,Somany, JOHNSON BATHROOMS, Roca, Neycer, Cera, Kohler).

Experience should be mandatory in respective locality for the last 5 years.

Tasks

 Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit

terms;

 Arrange and direct delivery of products and equipment;

 Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing

support;

 Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features,

and solicit orders;

 Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates;

 Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing

clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences;

 Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales;

 Determine price schedules and discount rates;

 Provide customers with product samples and catalogues;

 Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.

 Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts;

 Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and

service programs;

Qualifications and requirements

 College degree or higher in business or any related field;

 Ability to persuade others to change their minds and behaviour, and to give full attention to

what other people are saying. Ability to be aware of others’ reactions and understand why they

react as they do;

 Ability to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
