Job Summary:
As a Sales Manager in a hotel, you will be responsible for promoting and selling the hotel's products and services to clients and customers. You will develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals and ensure the hotel's profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and targets
Identify and solicit new business opportunities to grow revenue
Build and maintain relationships with clients and customers to ensure their satisfaction
Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts and negotiations to potential clients
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitors and customer needs
Monitor sales performance against established goals and take corrective action when necessary
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
Attend trade shows, industry events and conferences to build relationships and promote the hotel
Manage a team of sales executives and provide coaching and mentoring to support their professional development
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including financial reporting and budgeting
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel sales, with a proven track record of achieving revenue goals
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of hotel sales software and tools, such as customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Understanding of hotel operations and industry trends
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel as needed
