Automotive Commercial Vehicle Manager - Essential Duties

Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all commercial sales employees, ensuring that a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved and maintained.

Directs and schedules the activities of all department employees, ensuring proper staffing always.

Forecasts sales goals and expenses for the commercial vehicle department.

Forecasts aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives for individual salespeople and provides them with the support to meet these goals.

Maintains close contact with customers and manufacturer's commercial vehicle representatives.

Develops programs that will increase gross and F& I penetration.

Provides proper product and training resources for salespeople on a regular and continuous basis.

Conducts daily and weekly commercial sales training meetings as directed by the general manager.

Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect commercial vehicle sales.

Strives for harmony and teamwork with all other departments.

Attends managers meetings.

Maintains professional appearance.

Other tasks as assigned.
