Roles and Responsibilities
- Liaise with gemstone certification and appraisal entities to authenticate and validate the provenance and value of exclusive gemstones.
- Collaborate closely with reputable companies specializing in secure transportation and insurance to ensure the safe and secure transfer of valuable gemstones.
- Provide expert guidance and advice to clients on gemstone selection, value, and care, investment potential, and customization options
- Hold individual negotiations with partners and undertake business trips to conduct exclusive meetings
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets
- Stay updated on industry developments, emerging trends, and competitor activities
Desired Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in sales within the exclusive precious gemstone sector, demonstrating a track record of success in selling rare and high-value gemstones.
- Profound knowledge of gemstone certification, appraisal, and authentication procedures, with the ability to navigate complex transactions with finesse.
- A deep understanding of gemstone properties, identification techniques, and market trends
- Experience in interacting with companies for appraisal, certification, insurance, storage, and secure transportation of gemstones
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade at all levels
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Willingness to engage in individual negotiations with partners and undertake business trips to conduct exclusive meetings
