Leadership Skills-A sales manager leads a team and is responsible for keeping the team members motivated and developing their skills.

Customer Service Skills-Strong customer service skills can help them understand various concerns, negotiate conflicts, and enhance customer belief.

Product knowledge -Understanding the features of your product can help you develop sales strategies, allow you to set more accurate sales goals and answer questions your customers or team members may ask.

Customer knowledge -Sales managers that know what interests their customers can help their team develop individualized sales techniques for their target audiences and may increase overall sales.
