Job Title: Sales Executive - Hotel
Job Summary:
As a Sales Executive in a hotel, you will be responsible for promoting and selling the hotel's products and services to clients and customers. You will work closely with the Sales Manager and Assistant Sales Manager to implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals and ensure the hotel's profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and solicit new business opportunities to grow revenue
Build and maintain relationships with clients and customers to ensure their satisfaction
Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts and negotiations to potential clients
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitors and customer needs
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
Attend trade shows, industry events and conferences to build relationships and promote the hotel
Assist in managing and updating the customer relationship management (CRM) system
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activity, including leads, opportunities and closed deals
Provide regular reports to the Sales Manager and Assistant Sales Manager on sales performance and opportunities
Participate in sales team meetings and training sessions to enhance sales skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel sales or related field, with a proven track record of achieving goals
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of hotel operations and industry trends
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel as needed
