Sales - Freight Forwarding
Duties and Responsibilities:
Market Research and Opportunity Identification:
Conduct thorough market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs within the freight forwarding industry.
Identify revenue opportunities and develop effective strategies to capitalize on these opportunities across all relevant market segments.
Sales Promotion and Strategy:
Develop and implement action plans for sales promotion activities, aligning them with the company's business goals.
Devise and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Team Leadership and Management:
Lead, motivate, coach, and provide guidance to the sales team to ensure excellent customer service and performance.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture to achieve collective goals.
Client Engagement and Relationship Building:
Visit clients and potential clients to assess their needs, promote products and services, and build strong, lasting relationships.
Respond to client inquiries regarding credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
Innovation and Adaptable Business Practices:
Maintain an open mind to new ideas and innovative ways of conducting business while aligning with the company's goals and business plan.
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma or degree in sales or a relevant field of study.
5 to 10 years of experience in cargo sales or logistics management.
Proficiency in written and spoken English and the local language.
IT literacy, including proficiency in MS Office.
