Position Summary:
As a Senior Sales Executive for a freight forwarding company, your primary responsibility is to generate new business and drive sales growth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, and building strong relationships with key customers. Your focus will be on expanding the customer base, achieving sales targets, and maximizing revenue for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
2. Identify and evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to formulate effective sales plans.
3. Set sales targets and KPIs and track performance against them.
4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers and industry segments for business development.
Business Development:
1. Generate leads, prospect new clients, and establish relationships with potential customers.
2. Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals with prospective clients.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions that meet customer requirements.
4. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers.
Customer Relationship Management:
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
2. Understand customer needs, provide solutions, and address any issues or concerns.
3. Act as a primary point of contact for customers, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
4. Conduct regular customer visits, participate in industry events, and represent the company professionally.
