Sales Engineer

Job Description

• Establishes new accounts by identifying potential customers by means of cold calling.

• Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand current setup/process and challenges.

• Generate high-quality sales leads; follow up after initial meeting.

• Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product/service meets client needs.

• liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.

• Identify areas to improve customer satisfaction and repeat business; communicate those issues and possible solutions to upper management.

• Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.

• Prepares sales reports, follow up for sales closure, responsible for payment collection.

• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops/ Self Learning.
