Minimum Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering
• with Engineering MBA or advanced degree in Sales/related field would be an added advantage
• 3-12 years of experience in project sales and technical support of Engineering Projects, products and services. Specific experience in water and other related process engineering fields is preferable.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Experience in building and expanding channel/distribution networks across geographies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills compulsory. Good Interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with multiple teams
• Ability to understand customer needs and provide creative solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience and Knowledge of water treatment, wastewater treatment, and ultra-pure water systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications, MS Office Tools and CRM Softwares.
Role Description
• The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, coordinating with cross-functional teams on project sales and product developments, and providing technical assistance to customers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, generate leads, and achieve sales targets
• Carry out in-depth market surveys and analysis of market geographies, categorise client types and develop sales opportunities. Conduct studies to identify industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Prepare sales forecasts, funnels, budgets, and other reports
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, dealers/channel partners
• Manage customer inquiries, provide technical support, and ensure customer satisfaction. Use first principles approach to arrive at creative concepts and solutions
• Drive strategic and tactical sales initiatives to expand market share
