Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer with a background in the electrical industry to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling panel builders, switchgears, breakers, diesel generators, and steam turbines within the generator industry. This role requires a strong technical background in electrical engineering coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with panel builders, switchgear manufacturers, and other key stakeholders within the electrical industry.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Bangalore and surrounding regions.

Provide technical expertise and support to customers, including product demonstrations and presentations.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.

Achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory.

40-50% travel required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit project sites.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales within the electrical industry, preferably with exposure to panel builders, switchgears, breakers, diesel generators, and steam turbines.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong technical aptitude and understanding of electrical systems and components.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
