Roles & Responsibilities:
Business development and solicitation of opportunities in the automotive,
industrial, consumer product, food, agricultural, appliance, and aerospace
industries
Support Sales Engineers and customers with product demonstrations, product
sizing and selection, proof of concepts, testing, programming, and general
technical support
Attend opportunity line-up meetings at the customer site or virtually
Leverage company resources such as the SAP system, vendor database,
past proposal and project files, and working with the engineering teams
Develop the solution concept, and use basic CAD skills to create concept
models
Develop a working knowledge of our company's product offerings.
Create the system cost estimate utilizing the established templates and
standards
Create the written proposal and work with the owner to set the proposal
price.
Log activities including lead measures and key performance indicators on
a weekly basis
Attend tech reviews, validate purchase orders, attend kick-off meetings,
and attend factory acceptance buy-off meeting
Skills Excellent technical writing ability
Professional interpersonal communication skills and a warm
personality
Enthusiasm for soliciting business throughout Michigan, Ohio, and
Indiana
A proven desire to network, an outgoing personality, and aggressive
determination

Candidate
Profile*
Formal education in Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or
Robotics or MBA in Marketing
Experience with Mitsubishi, Fanuc, Panasonic, Yaskawa robots
Good Technical Exposure
The ideal candidate will possess an eagerness to lead, creativity, and
curiosity
Experience 1 to 5 yrs
