The incumbent is responsible for providing sales to OEMs and Channel customers on Sensors used in Process Industries / BMS / Automation System applications to sustain existing business, and develop new business opportunities (new customers/new products) as per the organizations strategy.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible to seek and develop new business in the assigned territory by the following, but not limited to:
1. Execute long-term and short-term sales strategies to accelerate business growth
2. Grow sales and increase Omicron's market share in the region
3. Understand and analyze market trends in order to achieve the target budget and identify future opportunities.
4. Aggressively seek new clients by sales and marketing strategies to drive sales growth in and around designated regions, which will cover customers through interaction with contractors, consultants, and end customers.
5. Demonstrate strong closing techniques and sales growth through professional communications with potential clients.
6. Develop long-term relationships with clients by managing and interpreting their requirements speaking with clients to understand, anticipate, and meet their needs.
7. Identify and resolve client concerns; recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future.
8. Persuade clients that the product best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
9. Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating the features and benefits of our products and services effectively.
10. Prepare on-time responses to requests for quotation, negotiation, and close of sales order .
11. Maintain a strong knowledge of competitor products and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing and marketing strategies.
12. Attending and participating in trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
13. Submit regular customer visit plans; schedule client meetings and action plans for follow-up
