The sales director is responsible for the global sales and expanding the business profitably in natural fiber for textile applications. Current products include pineapple leave fiber (PALF), ready to spin fiber, blended yarn (PALF with other cotton, RPET or Tencel) and blended PALF fabric. The textile segments we are focusing are: apparels & accessories, footwear, upholstery and interior furnishings.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide sales leadership and accountability to drive fiber, yarns and fabric sales and implement the strategy in close collaboration with sales, business development, finance, marketing, product development, production and supply chain
Lead and motivate sales and business development team to achieve revenue and profit goals
Work actively with production and sourcing teams on demand forecast and production planning
Drive annual sales & marketing plan, pricing strategy, product sales priorities and positioning, low-hanging fruits, and long-term growth opportunities, etc. �� which includes preparing reports, excel tables/charts and presentations
Identify and drive key accounts such as Global/Regional Brand Majors, Global/Regional Textile Manufacturers (Tier 1, 2 & 3) and strategic channel partners and related associations
Liaise with multi-departments on business needs, costing and technical requirements, contributing and influencing the product development and product benefits roadmap through clear recommendations that improve overall fashion-textile business opportunity
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, especially with logistics department, to fufill sales orders from quotation, pro-forma invoice, customer purchase orders, proforma invoice, invoice, shipping status and advice, inventory, stock cover and timely and full fulfilments, etc.
