principle responsibilities/accountabilities:
- provide excellent internal and external customer service and support the activities of the field sales team in order to meet and exceed sales targets.
- generate business leads and follow up on sales opportunities using various digital marketing strategis.
- take and process orders, including all administrative activity, producing associated documentation, invoicing, advising on delivery dates, etc.
- act as the liaison between the field sales team and internal departments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and within agreed deadlines . production department in relation to stock levels, delivery times, advising on service level agreements.
- assist the sales team in producing tenders, proposals and quotations.
- assist with travel arrangements and organising meeting and exhibition facilities.
- carry out general sales administration support such as filing, dealing with customer queries by phone or email.
- provide excellent customer service in conjunction with field sales to ensure that any issues are dealt with in a timely manner . resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports.
- ensure the crm and finance systems are fully utilised and kept up to date with all sales activity including logging of leads and following up on requests for quotations.
- assist with the preparation of any documentation required when goods are dispatched to customers, . export documentation.
- participate in all identified training and development activity including the sales academy.
