As a Sales Associate, one will promote and sell rooftop solar energy solutions to residential customers. The candidate will educate potential clients on the benefits of solar energy, assess their energy needs, and propose customized solar solutions to meet those needs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
 Gather information from prospective customers to identify their solar energy needs
 Explain technical products, services & financial information to customers that will best suit their energy needs
 Provide technical information about solar power, solar systems, equipment, and services to potential customers or dealers
 Select the optimum capacity of solar energy systems for customers based on electrical energy requirements, site conditions, price, or other factors.
 Provide customers with information such as quotes, orders, sales, shipping, warranties, credit, funding options, government incentives/subsidies, etc
 Develop and Prepare proposals, quotes, & presentations for potential solar customers.
 Generate solar energy customer leads to develop new accounts through cold calls or door-to-door marketing.
 Develop marketing or strategic plans for sales territories
• One should be able to organize, prioritize, and schedule work as per the requirements of the client
• The concerned person should be able to make quick decisions as per the needs of the client and be adept in problem-solving
• He should have good negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
• Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings
• Create and maintain outstanding relationships with the Client
• One should be good at documentation and recording information
Required Skills and Qualification:
 Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience in the solar industry or a related field
 Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or in EE preferred with some experience in sales of Technical product preferred
