We are looking for a Sales Application Engineer to help our customers get the right solutions for their engineering/manufacturing industry needs. The work is more technical than sales focused. We believe that if we offer the right solution to our customers for automation, robotics, cobots, line handling systems, overhead and surface based material handling systems, and SPMs, sales will definitely happen based on engineering and technical expertise. Selling is not the main focus - rather, presenting the right workable, durable, effective solution to the customer at the decision making level who are technically highly proficient, is the main function.
Sell the products/services using various customer sales methods (Foot on street, cold calling, presentations etc)
Forecast sales, develop out of the box sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
Evaluate customers skills, needs and build long-lasting relationships
Meet team sales targets
Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
Attend meetings, sales events, and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
Maintain and expand client database.
Enter the activity/communication details in the Customer Relationship Management(CRM) or report to the team.
Regularly co-ordinate with the design team and outside design vendor partners
Co-ordinate with the project execution team as mayberequired.
