Job Description

Sales and Business Development:

Customer Relationship Management: The sales manager interacts with potential clients, maintains existing customer relationships, and identifies new business opportunities. They actively engage with contractors, builders, and construction companies to promote ready-mix concrete products.

Market Research: Staying informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences is essential. The sales manager analyzes market data to adjust sales strategies and pricing.

Quotation Preparation: They prepare accurate and competitive quotations for clients based on project requirements.

Order Management and Coordination:

Order Intake: The sales manager collaborates with the sales team to ensure accurate order taking. They understand customer needs, project specifications, and delivery timelines.

Scheduling and Dispatching: Coordinating with dispatch teams, the sales manager ensures timely delivery of concrete to construction sites. Efficient scheduling and dispatching of concrete trucks are crucial.

Inventory Management: Monitoring raw material inventory levels (such as cement, aggregates, and admixtures) is part of the role. Ensuring availability while minimizing excess stock is essential.

Technical Knowledge and Product Expertise:

Understanding of Concrete Mixes: The sales manager should have a solid understanding of different concrete mixes (., M20, M25, etc.) and their applications.

Product Knowledge: They educate customers about the benefits of ready-mix concrete, including strength, durability, and consistency.
