Training

Conduct periodic safety training & educate employees of comp's group, contractor employees & labors about safety practices, guidelines, provisions of construction safety manual

Prepare safety calendar, budget & maintain safety training records

Create safety culture & maintain the same

Supervision

Randomly verify that all tools and equipment are adequate safe for use

Randomly verify safety guidelines being followed at work locations, maintain record of the same

Randomly verify if workers are wearing right type of safety gears like helmets, jackets, gloves, maintain record of the same

Ensure child labor is not engaged at site

Respond positively & on time to safety concerns raised by employees of comp's group, contractor employees & labors Safe Working

Prepare safety plan & have signoff for same with Project manager

Carry on time renewal/ revival of safety equipments like Fire extinguishers

Conduct safety audits on periodic basis & maintain the record of the same

Conduct regular safety reviews with project Manager/Sr. Engineer/Jr. Engineer & maintain the record of the same

Inspect the site on routine basis to ensure it is a hazard-free environment

Maintain equipped First aid on site at all times

Promote safe practices at the job site

Conduct audit for contractor work permit, safety undertaking from contractor & maintain originals of undertaking & workpermits

Act as enforcement authority in case of non compliance & stop work to avoid future untoward incident

Ensure pre approved formats are used for safety audits, safety training, safety instructions issued on sites, safety plan, record keeping of work permits

Prepare, maintain & file statutory safety returns if any

Identify & instruct site SE to remove unsafe or hazardous material from work site

Conduct accident investigations & initiate corrective actions in time, maintain the record
