An RF Field Engineer is a professional who works on designing, installing, or repairing equipment related to different sectors of the technology world . The responsibilities of an RF Field Engineer include :

- Provide intermediate level of engineer support and service work.

- Troubleshoot or provide support to customers and onsite crews.

- Install, modify, clean, and repair computer hardware and software.

- Designing plans for new wireless networks.

- Improving the speed and responsiveness of wireless networks.

- Conduct site inspections to ensure construction compliance with plans and specifications.

- Maintain accurate service logs and enter them in the database.

- Perform on-site service, repair and/or installation of company product(s).

- Enhancing the designs of existing radar systems.

- Designing switches and modules to enhance current electronic transmission systems.

- Installing new equipment for customers or businesses.

- Connecting new devices to broadcasting systems.

- Measuring electromagnetic emissions.

- Ensuring that all projects adhere to industry standards and regulations.

- Testing and performing troubleshooting on the designs they create.
