Operate cash registers and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively communicate information to customers.
Restock shelves, racks, and displays with merchandise to ensure availability and presentation standards are met.
Keep the store clean and organized by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and arranging products neatly.
Monitor inventory levels and alert management to low stock or product shortages.
Assist with receiving shipments, unpacking merchandise, and verifying inventory counts.
Follow all safety and security procedures to prevent theft and ensure the safety of customers and staff.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service experiences.
Requirements:
Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the company.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move merchandise as needed.
