Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced restaurant manager to oversee our university restaurant, which services approximately 3000 students per day. The restaurant manager will be responsible for managing daily operations, supervising staff, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory, and ordering supplies.
Ensure food quality, safety, and proper handling procedures.
Train and supervise restaurant staff, including cooks, servers, and dishwashers.
Create schedules for restaurant staff and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Monitor and manage restaurant budgets, including food costs, labor costs, and other expenses.
Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and drive revenue.
Collaborate with university administration to coordinate special events and promotions.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management would be an asset, business administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management.
Experience managing high-volume restaurants or food service operations.
Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Proven ability to manage budgets and achieve financial targets.
Customer service oriented with a focus on providing an excellent dining experience.
