Job Description

Operational Management:

Oversee daily operations of the café, including opening and closing procedures.

Ensure smooth functioning of all departments, including kitchen, service, and barista teams.

Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure the café is well-stocked.

Customer Service:

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.

Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

Monitor customer feedback and implement necessary improvements.

Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and supervise café staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen staff.

Schedule shifts and manage staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching or disciplinary action as needed.

Financial Management:

Prepare and manage budgets, and analyze financial reports to identify areas for cost reduction.

Implement upselling strategies to boost revenue.

Health and Safety:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including hygiene standards.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain a safe and clean environment.

Train staff on health and safety procedures.

Menu and Product Management:

Collaborate with chefs or suppliers to design and update the menu.

Monitor product quality and ensure consistency in food and beverage offerings.

Introduce new products or seasonal items to attract customers.

Marketing and Promotions:

Engage with customers on social media

Vendor and Supplier Relations:

Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products.

Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance.

Reporting:

Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, customer satisfaction
