JOB OVERVIEW: A Restaurant Manager is responsible for hiring and training staff, monitoring the quality of food, service and presentation in the restaurant, and coaching employees to enhance guests experiences. They also speak with customers about any concerns or problems, while also creating work schedules. Restaurant and food service managers plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of restaurants, bars, cafeterias and other food and beverage services.
