Job Description

1) Customer service: Welcoming guests, ensuring timely service, and providing a friendly farewell

Reservations: Managing reservations and seating plans, and ensuring tables have adequate furniture and

utensils

2) Menu knowledge: Having a good knowledge of the menu and presentation standards, and being able to

answer questions about the menu

3) Communication: Communicating with the kitchen about menu questions, wait times, and product

availability

4) Team management: Handling daily team member relations, and encouraging problem solving by team

members

5) Safety and sanitation: Maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment, and ensuring only the highest

quality products are being served

6) Inventory: Managing inventory and cost control

7) Training: Training and empowering team members
