Key Responsibilities

Patient Care:

Conduct initial assessments, diagnose illnesses, and formulate treatment plans.

Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatments as needed.

Assist in managing acute medical conditions and respond to patient emergencies.

Coordination and Communication:

Work closely with consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals.

Communicate patient updates and care plans to families and caregivers.

Provide detailed handovers during shift changes.

Procedures and Clinical Duties:

Perform medical procedures such as cannulation, intubation, suturing, and lumbar punctures (where applicable).

Support consultants during surgeries or other medical interventions.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, policies, and relevant medical regulations.

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

Report any adverse events or medical errors promptly.

Education and Training:

Participate in continuing medical education (CME) and professional development activities.

Mentor and train junior medical staff or interns if applicable.
