Research Analyst for Investment Banking Job Duties:
• Develops and maintains a corporate, individual, and government client base.
• Researches, analyses and interprets financial information and market trends.
• Develops financial models to analyze deals and offers to determine viability and profitability.
• Offers expert advice on investment tactics and methods.
• Secures and arranges mergers and acquisitions on behalf of clients.
• Buys and sells stocks, looks after investments and develops a sense of trust of clients.
• Develops thorough knowledge of regulatory and legal issues in the financial industry.
Typical activities on a day-to-day basis include:
- Thoroughly researching market conditions and developments;
- identifying new business opportunities;
- carrying out financial modelling, then developing and presenting appropriate financial solutions to clients;
- liaising with the chief executive and chief finance officers of large organizations;
- co-coordinating teams of professionals which include accountants, lawyers and PR
consultants.
Specific Day to day Duties:
Your primary duties as Research Analyst will include (in descending order of importance):
1. Perform extensive primary and secondary research to build an overview structure of the project.
2. Detailed understanding of the target market, industry, company or opportunity.
3. Analyze and synthesize research findings to develop valuable insights and strategic recommendations for our client.
4. Design and create error-free, client-ready presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Qualifications: & MBA or CA/CFA with up to 2-3 years of experience.
