1. Engineer for Testing and commissioning of CRP:
a. Checking the completion of pre-requisites at site before energizing the panel.
b. BOM of the control and relay panel checking as the as manufactured drawing.
c. Scheme checking and DC Logic checking of CRP.
d. Configuration checking of the relays and setting the parameters of the protection IEDs/BCU as provided by service recipient
e. If any discrepancies found in the drawings / Configurations, reporting it back & getting the proper approval from concerned.
f. Testing of Protection IEDs/.BCU as per final configuration and parameter settings with three phase numerical test kit.
g. Testing of metering equipments, Annunciations, Primary equipment operation from Control and relay panel after completion of internal DC logic.
h. Submission of test report to service recipient after completion of testing at site.
i. Providing feedback on the issues / discrepancies found in the schematics.
j. Making final MOM with service recipient.
2. Retrofitting of Protection relays:
a. Configuration of protection relay as per retrofitting scheme prepared and handed over to the engineer as per drawing.
b. Offline testing of relay with final configuration and Parameter setting.
c. Understanding the existing drawing and existing wiring prior to shut down.
d. Discussion with service recipient for finalizing the location where the new relay to be mounted.
e. Instructing the technician for associate works
f. Testing of protection relays after completion of all necessary wiring for its proper operation as per new wiring.
g. Checking the interfaces between external equipment and CRP.
h. Preparation of hand marked drawing and handing over of the same to service recipient.
i. Handing of final back to service recipient after successful completion of work.
j. Making final MOM and getting it signed by service recipient after consulting with Zonal service manager.
