• Conduct research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services or new ways of reaching existing markets.
• Understand the needs of our customers and be able to respond effectively with a strategic plan to meet the requirements.
• Work strategically - carry out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of technical sales from initiation through delivery.
• Manage sales initiation activities including identifying contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts and access to existing information as needed.
• Develop alternate requirements or document exceptions as appropriate.
• Develop, define and execute sales plans, sales scope, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
• Liaise with product development, sales, client relationship teams, technology solutions, service delivery and/or other cross-functional teams.
• Identify right resources for sales, define and assign major sales roles.
• Coordinate activities and tasks among sales team members, other internal departments and client or vendor organizations as needed to meet sales goals are achieved.
• Assigns, mentor and monitors work of sales team providing technical and analytical support and direction.
• Interface with external clients or field-based employees on technical matters as needed.
• Manages issues/problems and activity progress to ensure sales goals, ., deadline, scope
are achieved. Assists with service problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed.
• Work on workflow management system for sales tracking and scheduling.
• Act as liaison between technical and non-technical teams, in internal organizations as well as in client and vendor organizations to ensure all sales targets and requirements are met.
• Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to client organizations
