Key Responsibilities:

Installation of HVAC/R Systems:

Install new HVAC and refrigeration systems in homes, offices, factories, and other buildings.

Ensure the systems are properly installed according to the manufacturer’s specifications and local building codes.

Set up refrigerant lines, wiring, and ductwork as required for HVAC and refrigeration systems.

Maintenance and Service:

Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R systems, such as cleaning filters, inspecting components, and checking refrigerant levels.

Ensure systems are running efficiently to prevent breakdowns and prolong their lifespan.

Lubricate moving parts, replace worn-out filters, and check for any potential issues that could cause future problems.

Repairs and Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.

Identify problems such as refrigerant leaks, malfunctioning compressors, or faulty electrical components.

Repair or replace broken parts like motors, compressors, or thermostats to restore systems to full functionality.

Test systems after repairs to ensure they are working correctly.

System Testing and Calibration:

Perform pressure tests on refrigerant systems to check for leaks.

Calibrate thermostats and other control devices to ensure accurate temperature regulation.

Test air and refrigerant flow and adjust as necessary for optimal system performance.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure that HVAC and refrigeration systems are installed and maintained in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
