Job Description

Greeting visitors: Welcoming visitors and guests, and directing them to the correct person or office

Answering phone calls: Answering and transferring phone calls, screening calls, and taking messages

Managing mail: Receiving, sorting, and delivering mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries

Scheduling appointments: Scheduling meetings for employees

Maintaining records: Keeping office records up to date, and performing basic filing and recordkeeping

Providing customer service: Responding to customer inquiries in a polite and timely manner, and helping clients or customers with questions about their charges

Maintaining the reception area: Keeping the reception area and common areas clean and tidy

Performing other clerical tasks: Faxing, transcribing, printing, and copying
