Job Description

Greeting patients: Welcoming patients and visitors in person and on the phone

Scheduling appointments: Scheduling appointments for patients and keeping them on time

Answering questions: Answering routine questions and providing information to patients

Maintaining records: Keeping patient records and accounts up to date

Assisting patients: Helping patients fill out forms and insurance paperwork

Handling payments: Processing patient payments and verifying financial records

Maintaining confidentiality: Keeping patient and doctor information confidential

Managing supplies: Ordering and monitoring office supplies and equipment

Liaising with staff: Communicating with doctors, nurses, and other staff

Maintaining a calm environment: Minimizing patient stress and keeping the reception area calm and orderly
