Amoura Consol Pty Ltd is an Australian-based project management company. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team.

Ideally you would possess formal training and experience as a Construction Estimator as well as contractual management ability.

To be successful in this role you need to be:

Experienced in Construction Estimating

Sound understanding of construction systems and methodologies

Able to juggle multiple priorities and context switch quickly

Possess a high level of personal responsibility / be super organised

What you will do:

Preparing detailed estimates/quotations for residential and commercial building using internal software systems

Prepare and coordinate high quality and accurate tender proposals and submissions

Source and collate supplier and contractor quotes

Develop relationships with clients, designers, architects, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors

Review, develop and maintain accurate and up to date cost information

Liaise with project teams and prepare project schedules

Mentor and grow other Estimators to be the best they can be

Preparation of construction budgets

Help continually improve our estimating processes and systems

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent experience

1 - 2 years experience in the construction industry

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You will have been very active in this type of work before ensuring the systems are diligently followed including paperwork, so
