Job Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor specializing in Fireproofing, EIFS, and Insulation, you will be responsible for managing the cost aspects of our projects, from initial estimates to final evaluations. You will work closely with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate and competitive pricing, while maintaining a keen understanding of project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for fireproofing, EIFS, and insulation projects.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
Track project costs, monitor variations, and provide regular cost reports to the project team.
Conduct on-site visits to assess progress and identify potential cost-saving measures.
Work closely with project teams to identify opportunities for value engineering without compromising quality.
Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and material costs to maintain accurate cost databases.
Assist in the resolution of contractual and commercial issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical /Civil .
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the field of fireproofing, EIFS, or insulation projects.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry-specific regulations.
Proficiency in quantity take-off software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Familiarity with industry standards such as ASTM, NFPA, and building codes.
