Job Description

Be responsible for defining, applying, monitoring and improve the quality system of the team.

Ensure systems, people and processes are functioning as expected.

Systems

Ensure harmony between the procedures and BMT Plus. Ensure systems continues to provide timely and accurate information seamlessly.

Monitor relationships and dependencies with external parties are defined as needed and working as expected. This includes labs, blood centres, drug suppliers, facilities etc.

Ensure adequate availability of resources and facilities to enable seamless delivery of work

Ensure systems provide the users measurable, accessible and clear performance assessment

People

Ensure compliance and adherence to policies and procedures laid out for the program

Ensure adequate number of trained professionals are available for the program

Ensure patient and donor selection happens as per the defined procedures

Ensures that the duty roster is updated and circulated

Processes

Ensure procedures are updated periodically so as to keep the environment for patients, attenders and staff safe while delivering the program objectives

Ensure proper procedure is followed in recognising problems, identifying root causes and put in place effective fixes.

Ensure processes are in place to handle disaster situations.

Participate in clinical and administrative reviews to identify potential shortcomings and propose fixes.

Ensure that the data submission to CIBMTR and any other external registry is happening as mandated and monitor the accuracy of the same.

Monitors the scheduling of meetings with due notice and circulation of agendas and minutes

Monitors for the meeting deliberations are incorporated into clinical practice guidelines and standard operational procedures

Monitor infections, toxicities and outcomes.
