Job Title: Quality Engineer
Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance:
Develop and implement quality control procedures and methodologies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct thorough inspections and tests on products or services at various stages of the production or delivery process.
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for process improvement and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
Analyze data and trends to make recommendations for continuous improvement in quality systems.
Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to quality standards, procedures, and testing protocols.
Prepare reports on quality metrics and present findings to management.
Root Cause Analysis:
Investigate and analyze root causes of quality issues and non-conformances.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified issues and prevent recurrence.
Supplier Quality Management:
Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for incoming materials or components.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards to ensure products or services meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
Assist in preparing for and participating in regulatory audits.
Training:
Provide training to employees on quality-related topics, procedures, and best practices.
Foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
Experience:
Previous experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
Familiarity with quality management systems and tools.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct data analysis and root cause analysis.
