Responsibilities

Test products, systems, and procedures to ensure they meet technical standards

Investigate product complaints and reported quality issues

Develop or update company complaint and inspection procedures

Monitor risk-management procedures

Maintain and improve the quality of manufactured products

Submit regular product quality reports

Recommend revisions of indicated specifications

Liaise between the engineering, production teams and the customers

Skills

Knowledge of ISO standards

Problem-solving

Statistical analysis and engineering methods

Ability to develop sampling plans

Ability to maintain statistical process controls

Ability to analyze data

Other duties

Assist operations team in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels

Provide training and support to quality assurance team members

Maintain the production process by keeping it as efficient and cost-effective as possible
