As a Quality Assurance Officer specializing in Electrical Switchgear Products, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of our products throughout the manufacturing process. Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Quality Control and Inspection:
Conduct regular inspections and audits of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Perform dimensional, visual, and functional tests on electrical switchgear products, identifying any defects or deviations from quality requirements.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
2. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and non-conformances, documenting all relevant information in quality management systems or databases.
Prepare inspection reports, quality metrics, and other documentation for internal review and analysis, highlighting areas for improvement and corrective actions.
3. Process Improvement and Optimization:
Continuously monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement of product quality and efficiency.
Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address recurring quality issues and implement sustainable solutions.
Provide recommendations for process improvements, equipment upgrades, and training programs to support quality objectives.
4. Regulatory Compliance and Standards:
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications for electrical switchgear products.
Stay updated on relevant quality standards, regulations, and best practices, implementing changes and updates as necessary to maintain compliance.
