Co-ordinate and liaise QHSE activities to have the IMS functioning effectively within the department & keep the department ready for internal & external IMS audits
Setting of the IMS objectives and Integrated Management Program for the vessels, Quarterly and annual review the status of the objectives.
Setting up drill matrix (Ship & Shore), Internal & external audit plans, SSAS test schedule, up keeping of certificates (ship & office).
Access the relevant flag state, port state and international conventions requirements and all other requirements to which the Company subscribes to including amendments and to communicate these requirements in a timely manner to relevant departments in the shore office and all
ships in the Company’s fleet;
Updating of q88, HVPQ under guidance of QHSE superintendent.
Ensure that the charts, ENCs and navigational publications onboard vessels including technical library onboard and office are maintained and ensuring that all these supply are done in a timely manner;
Monitor regular receipt of reports from ships regarding working/rest hours, drug/alcohol tests, illness/injury reports.
Monitor receipt of reports from ships regarding Incident/Near Miss reports, drills, safety meetings, master’s IMS review, navigational audits, terminal inspection
Monitor vessel’s PSC/FSI, SIRE & CDI inspections reports;
Co-ordinate and liaise with the vessels to keep the vessels ready for vetting inspections at all time;
Ensure that non-conformance related to the IMS (ship & Office) are investigated, as appropriate and suitable corrections, corrective actions and preventive actions are taken in a timely manner;
In coordination with HOD-QHSE, arrange effective training for office personnel,
