Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for verifying, testing, and identifying issues in the developed code within the standards, guidelines and requirements.

2. Work with device testing like mobile, ipad etc.

3. Work with Product Owners, Stakeholders and other team members as appropriate.

4. Understand and utilize the tools and technologies being used like TFS, Postman etc.

5. Work with the SMEs to understand the requirement as and when appropriate.

6. Work with BA /TL to keep on track with the testing plan, and timeline.

7. Work with Development team to understand the programming, tracking, and other requirements.

8. Coordinate with the other QA team members to test the product.

9. Work with Project team to convey the test results.

Required Skills :

1. Preparation of detailed test cases for all levels of testing - Unit, Sanity, Smoke, Regression, UAT.

2. Execution of test cases.

3. Bug reporting with all the required details and tracking on this from Open to Closure.

4. User stories testing.

5. Smoke and Sanity testing.

6. Accessibility Verification Testing (AVT).

7. Regression testing.

8. UAT testing as per client expectations.

9. Testing for various Platforms / Devices.

10. Testing for Various Browsers.

11. Mobile: Android, iOS Tablets and Phones.

12. Experience of testing SaaS products will be a very distinct advantage.

13. Understanding of APIs structure, methods, environment etc.

14. Understanding of database queries, joins, syntax etc.
