We are seeking a Purchasing Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, negotiating prices, managing vendors, and improving the efficiency of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
-Research and identify potential new suppliers for raw materials
-Negotiate prices and payment terms with suppliers
-Maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and effective communication
-Monitor and manage vendor performance, including on-time delivery and quality of goods
-Develop and maintain supply chain processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and logistics, to ensure smooth and efficient operations
-Stay up-to-date with market trends and changes in the textile industry
-Use Excel and various portals to manage data and information related to sourcing and purchasing
Requirements:
-Strong negotiation and communication skills
-Willingness to learn and grow with the company
-At least 3 years of experience in sourcing and purchasing raw materials, preferably in the textile industry
-Tech-savvy and familiar with Excel and various portals for data management
