1. Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.

2. Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.

3. Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.

4. Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.

5. Inspecting stock and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.

6. Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.

7. Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have

been rescheduled

8. Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers.

9. Ensuring all stock is packaged appropriately and delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.

10. Take the lead in creating profitable ways to manage obsolete and slow-moving stock to help offset losses

11. Assist in developing more effective invoicing and collecting processes
