Responsibilities:

Supplier Sourcing and Evaluation: Identify potential suppliers for commodities based on quality, price, reliability, and other relevant factors.

Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers. Develop and manage contracts,

Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supply-demand dynamics to make informed purchasing decisions.

Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

Procurement Process Optimization: Continuously improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations.

Inventory Management: Monitor commodity inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing carrying costs.

Quality Assurance: Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure that purchased commodities meet the required quality standards and specifications. Resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions with suppliers, if necessary.

Cost Analysis and Budgeting: Analyze procurement costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to reduce expenses without compromising quality.

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and ethical practices in procurement activities. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to purchasing transactions and supplier information.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as production, finance, and logistics, to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
