Job Description
We are looking for a Purchase Associate -Pharma to build supply for existing pharma projects and new initiatives.
Purchase Associate-Pharma responsibilities include researching new vendors, negotiating prices, onboarding vendors and maintaining key relationships with the same. Familiarity with pharma supply chain or business development is a plus.
Ultimately, you will build a strong network of key pharma players for existing and future projects.
We are looking for a smart self-motivated individual who is willing to put extra effort in order to learn and grow the business. We accept individuals to take high levels of ownership and decision making skills.
Responsibilities
Research potential vendors
Onboard vendors for our online and offline pharma businesses.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
Prepare cost analyses
Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
Vendor relationship management
Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition.
Required Skills
1+ years' experience in Pharmaceutical Industry.
Wholesale Pharma Distributor experience.
Should be known about local market of Medicines (Mandis)
Able to get new suppliers from Pharma
