Responsibilities for purchasing executive
Ensure products and services meet quality expectations, are on time and are in accordance with the customer needs
Develop and grow new relationships with suppliers
Implement the proper metrics, SLAs, and measurements to drive and document improvements and provide routine and ad hoc reporting as needed
Ensure supplier diversity requirements are met for off-program spend
Interface with Accounts Payable to ensure a smooth and consistent end-to-end procure to pay process
Develop continuous training required to keep team apprised of business situations as they affect Procurement policy
Purchase process co-ordination – they will manage and implement the purchasing process for all technology related expenses using the relevant system
Vendor management – this employee will maintain sound working relationships with vendors to ensure responsive service and timely resolution of all issues
Asset and order tracking – the Procurement Administrator will track assets and orders and provide regular tracking reports and status updates on orders
Cost management – these employees create spend forecasts and then monitor these against the actual spend
Qualifications for purchasing executive
Independent and able to work with minimum supervision
Support the Supplier Managers in the execution of cost reduction programs
Manage, evaluate and monitor the certifications of suppliers
Co-ordinate with various stakeholders to resolve issues on Purchase Requisition, PO, Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt
Support in audits activities, contract management and other general topics
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications like Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint and knowledge in Oracle a plus
